Service Life
Poly-Triplex Liners are designed to last for decades. Structural woven fiberglass materials, non-porous PVC chemical barrier
embedded with polyester felt, and chemical resistant resins combine to form the most effective manhole and sewer rehabilitation
method available. It is by far the most cost effective method if you are looking for a real and lasting solution. Service life
is anticipated to be 100 years in a standard domestic wastewater environment.
Engineering Certification
After review of the Poly-Triplex product and installation process and the liner’s physical and chemical resistance properties,
the prominent engineering firm Mayes, Sudderth & Etheredge, Inc., located in Atlanta, GA, provided their professional opinion
on the service life of the Poly-Triplex Liner System. In summary, they determined that where the product is installed in
structures with sewage "which meets normal municipal sewage as per ASTM No. 5813, Table 1," and where it is installed
according to manufacturers and engineering specifications, "Mayes, Sudderth & Etheredge, Inc. believes the service life
of the product can be increased to 100+ years based on the physical properties of the Poly-Triplex Liner System" and
"that the structural components on which the product is to be used is sufficient to last for the 100-year service period."
