Culvert Rehabilitation – City of Sylvester, GA

Problem: Severely deteriorated 24" x 72' double corrugated metal culverts buried 10 ft. under a street that was about to undergo a paving project. It would be extremely costly to dig up the pipe. The city also wanted to add a sidewalk but there was not sufficient room. Solution: Poly-Triplex Liner was installed in both pipes in less than 12 hours total without excavation and pipe was extended sufficient to add the sidewalk. CASE STUDY

Problem: 30" Culvert pipe located under 4-lane road near bridge was damaged allowing sediment to infiltrate into the pipe. The roadbed and bridge support was being undermined. Solution: The structure was lined in one day without excavation of US Hwy. 98 and with no traffic disruption, stopping all infiltration of sediment into the pipe. Considerable cost savings were realized over other conventional methods of repair or replacement. CASE STUDY
